FORCE America, Inc. is looking to fill a full-time opening for a OEM Support Specialist role in our Burnsville, MN location. This position will work closely with our Sales staff to provide solutions for our OEM customers. This position will have frequent contact with internal customers as well as external customers, providing technical support and guidance. The OEM Support Specialist will be involved in sales, technical and product expertise as well as provide detailed support to customers on orders and technical needs. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Designs mobile hydraulic systems for new and existing OEM customers.
• Uses expertise and discretion to provide technical and pricing information to field sales.
• Helps prepare quotes and proposals that vary in scope.
• Screens proposals to assure the scope of work and required resources are appropriate. Has the authority to reject work that is outside of scope.
• Works with suppliers and FORCE America manufacturing locations to source products.
• Researches mobile hydraulic opportunities, learns existing applications, and communicates opportunities for growth.
• Trains field sales staff on new and existing technology.
• Represents FORCE America, in coordination with sales, with customers in person, electronically, and via phone.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree with a focus of study on fluid power, mechatronics, or a related field. Certified Fluid Power Certification is a plus.
• Minimum two years’ experience interacting directly with customers in a problem solving capacity.
• 3+ years experience with design of mobile hydraulic systems that reflects strong understanding of fluid power products, electronic controls, vendors, complete systems, and solutions.
• Strong communication skills required to interact as a technical expert with all levels of customers, vendors, and FORCE America staff.
• Technical aptitude that demonstrates the ability to visualize and design new products and applications.
