    PreCise MRM is seeking an experienced Sales Territory Manager for our Boise area office. The Sales Territory Manager's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, sell/support/train value added mobile resource management solutions which covers a wide variety of applications (software and hardware) to achieve gross margin and sales goals set by the company. The Sales Territory Manager will be responsible for the development of both internal and external service offerings that support our PreCise MRM customers and partners. This role requires collaborating extensively with the National Sales Manager, the Product Manager, Inside Support and Engineering teams to provide the best user experience possible for the PreCise MRM customer base.

    PreCise MRM provides fleet management solutions, utilizing the latest in mobile and GPS technology to improve productivity and cost effectiveness to the on-off highway market. The solution is a combination of ruggedized hardware and web-based software designed to dramatically improve the visibility and control over mobile resources. From basic location and speed information to complex data coming from intelligent onboard devices, PreCise MRM products capture, store, and transmit data to a user-friendly interface, viewable from anywhere in the world via a secure internet connection.

    • Grows sales of PreCise MRM products in assigned territory through prospecting of new customers and new applications with existing customers.
    • Achieves sales and gross margin goals for the territory.
    • Utilizes the PreCise MRM Opportunity Identification model to ensure a healthy portfolio of customers (Dale Carnegie).
    • Builds and maintains a consultative relationship with customers, and is considered part of customer’s strategic team.
    • Provides all regularly required reports and data.
    • Provides all required data for participation in development of sales plans for assigned territory.
    • Works collaboratively, and always in the best interest of PreCise MRM to support customer needs.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.   Equivalent combination of years of experience and education may be substituted.
    • 5 years of experience selling software solutions/applications. 
    • Demonstrated skills that reflect consultative sales ability and ability to grow sales with new and existing customers.  Prefer 5 years of consultative level sales experience and a track record of sales growth in the software industry, with a preference of a direct sales model (direct to customer).
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong sales aptitude (written and verbal).
    • Strong presentation skills (in person presentations and/or web based presentations).
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products.  
    • Operational understanding of browser based applications using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox & Chrome.
    • Basic understanding of GPS and related technologies.
    • Preferred but not required:  Experience with ESRI ArcGIS.
